Travel soccer Tryouts for the 2019/2020 Season

Registration is now open for the Edgemont Soccer Club 2019-2020 Travel Soccer Season.

Tryouts for children born in 2012 and 2011 will be held on Saturday, May 4  and Saturday, May 18. More information to follow.

  • All players are strongly encouraged to attend all tryouts, but are required to attend at least one.

  • Players must have cleats, shin guards, a size 3 ball if you were born in 2012 and a size 4 ball if you were born in 2011 and enough water.  Drop-off only.

In order to try out, players will need to register at prior to May 2nd.

There will be an information session for all new ESC parents on Monday, May 6th at 7:30pm in the Greenville Lunch Room.  All new families are encouraged to attend.

For returning players born in 2010-2004, there will be NO TRYOUTS. Your team placement will be based upon our trainer’s observations of your performance in practice and games.

For new players born in 2010-2004, there will be a tryout. You will be notified with a time and location for the tryout based upon your age.

Age groups have been determined by US Soccer and the Westchester Youth Soccer League. The year your child was born will determine their age group. 

Children born in 2012 *MUST* be in at least 2nd Grade during the 2019-2020 school year.

If it is your first time registering a child for the Edgemont Soccer Club, please create an account by following the instructions on the website.

When registering, pick “unassigned” team to complete the registration process.

A Registration fee of $250 is required and fully refundable until 48 hours after the second tryout date. The Registration fee of $250 will serve as the first installment of 2019/2020 fees for all children placed on a team.  The fee is fully refundable for anyone NOT placed on a team. Anyone no longer interested in participating after attending the tryouts, *has* to ask for the refund within 48 hour of the second tryout date - beyond that, no refunds are issued.  If your child is a returning player who does not need to try out, you may request a refund of your Registration fee by June 1st.

Teams will be announced the week of June 16th after the last game of current season has been played.
